DIY Help!! How to disable PDC?

Hey all. I've asked this on some of the other boards, but mini2 seems to be the most mechanically-inclnied. So here it goes. I ordered my MCS with PDC and have no big complaints about it. That being said, I think I'd prefer it now without the sensors on the back. I found someone selling a new painted EB bumper cheap and really want to jump on the oppurtunity. Can I disconnect the PDC or will I constantly hear a solid tone when in reverse?

There must be a way to disable it somehow, not sure how though. Is there a separate fuse for the PDC? If so that'd be the easy way. If not there has to be power coming from somewhere.

reverse into a wall really hard

what have you done with the sensors at the moment? they either want a constant current coming from the - side to not beep, or disconnecting...

Your dealer can turn off the tone, it's one of the programmable options in the PDC controller. You could also locate the speaker and unplug it.

Locate the speaker and relocate it outside, and you'll have one of those annoying warning devices!
