Offline | racing stripes hiya everyone, ive had my red/white cooper a year now and have just started to add a few little extras. my only one piece of indecision is the bonnet stripes. i like the look of the classic ones but have just seen the "racing stripe" produced by cooper flags. this consists of one stripe down the centre flanked either side by smaller tramline style stripes, only problem is i havnt seen any on other minis so its hard to get a good idea of the effect. i would be well chuffed if anyone knew of minis in the gallery with them. if not your opinion on them (good or bad ) might help me with my dilemma! ![]() THATS THE WAY I LIKE IT BABY I DONT WANNA LIVE FOREVER! |

Offline | i have just looked in gallery on cooper flags(thanks gmini) the racing stripes do look cool. but only problem is they seem to look a whole lot better in a slightly contrasting shade to the paint, whereas mine would be white on red. the photo they have for this combo i dont think does it justice. so guys and girls any advice would be helpful, im a bit confused(which some people say is normal for me) ![]() THATS THE WAY I LIKE IT BABY I DONT WANNA LIVE FOREVER! |

Offline | Its never an easy decision to make, but in the end you have to go with what looks best to you and only you. I've seen the Kawaii car in person and it looked aces ... in fact it won a best cooper in show prize during the Covered Bridges Meet (61 MINIs present) |

Offline | Matt from Cooper Flags here - We also have a new style of Racing Stripe available, but not up on the site yet. It's the same dimension as the standard racing stripe (12") but the center stripe is wider 10" compared to 8". The border stripes are smaller and tighter to the main stripe. I'll see if I have a picture to post, but the look overall is more aggressive. We are planning on calling this either the XL Racing Stripe or the Fat Boy. The price is the same as the standard racing stripe ($99.00 boot and bonnet set). Matt@cooperflags.com |
