Offline | Aero kit side skirts Hi all, I'm going to trade in my cooper for an 's' . Does anyone know if its possible to get just the side skirts of the Aero kit, and get them fitted, or do you have to buy the whole kit? Currently got a Black cooper ,white roof and bonnet stripes.Thinking about getting an Indi blue 's' , white roof and bonnet stripes. |

Offline | hiya chippy yes you can get them seperate. approx 140 pounds each from bmw. only problem is that i enquired other day about them myself and was told by dealer they are having a supply problem at moment with them. ring your dealer to find out, their parts dept might be lucky enough to have some stock. Offline | I'm not sure about individual parts, but you can order the full aero kit pre painted in any colour for £900. Or primared only for £900. It maybe the case where individual parts can only be ordered primared. As for fitting I've been told from £1200 to £1500 for the full aero kit fitted. Going to fit it myself when my new one comes. ![]() |

Offline | hiya guys, wollaston in northampton quoted me 140 quid give or take a few quid for an individual side skirt. i spoke to paul who is the brand manager there and he mentioned something of a supply problem, probably due to the surge of interest in them. this would arrive in primer so painting would be needed, and also extra cost of fitting. ![]() THATS THE WAY I LIKE IT BABY I DONT WANNA LIVE FOREVER! |

| See you in my rear view!! | Well you must remember that the £140 is per side and is probably before tax! I have them on mine and paid £492 for both sides, pre-painted and fitted. That was at Cooper Thames Ditton in Surrey. And they look the biz! 210bhp JCW MINI Cooper S (S950) |

Offline | yes they can be painted but quite a lot of labour involved to get a decent job on them. Your local bodyshop would be a good starting point to get a quote,The trims really need to be primered 2 to 3 times to achieve a perfect finish this is due to the texture in the trims and will also help to seal the plastic.(it tends to absorb some of the first coat). i had mine painted but i run a bodyshop so no cost involved to me. if you do decide to paint them explain to whoeva does them that you want them to be texture free otherwise you may be dissapointed in them. the preparation of them is the most vital part of the job. good luck, and try a few quotes to get the best price ![]() THATS THE WAY I LIKE IT BABY I DONT WANNA LIVE FOREVER! |

| Man in the know! | hi, the primer coated skirts are £140 per side...+ new sill covers..and the little grills. you can order them pre-painted (more cost effective) at £190 per side, again you need the grills and covers too. the pre painted ones take upto 4 weeks to come through from germany.
