I'm thinking of getting a white top and sunroof but if a bit put off by the black colour of the sunroof.

I know some graphics places can give you an all-white sunroof - I think what they do is provide a white film to cover up the sunroof so if your top is white, it will look nicer. Does anyone have first-hand experience of this ? I'm just wondering how good it looks.

yes It can be done ... try the Gallery over at cooperflags.com if I remember correctly there is some good shots of it installed

Indeed, MINI don't offer it (they did try it out, but it's never been released), but www.cooperflags.com will be able to help.

Yes, the all-white sunroof at CooperFlags looks great. They have an example in their photo gallery. I was going to get one until I noticed they have a Yin/Yang symbol, so that will be my first exterior mod.

Actually, all I wanted to know is whether the Cooperflags all-white top looks good. I will get it as long as it looks better than the original black sunroof. If anyone has seen one real life, please let me know how it looks.

You could find a sign shop with static cling (perforated too) by the foot...in white. Cut it to size yourself or ask them to. The sunroof is a simple design. This would be a temporary, inexpensive option to see if this is something you want to do for a permanent basis.

I have seen the sunroof with the white perforated film. It looks good and gives a little more sunlight protection than the retractable screen.

Meaning that instead of a having Union Jack or checkerboard graphics put on your sunroof, you can get the Yin/Yang symbol in any two colors you wish.

I'm a big fan of the symbol, it represents my personal philosophy and it's my only tattoo.

Somewhere on this forum there's a photo of a Mini with the Yin/Yang on the windows, done by a professional tinter. Looks really sharp.
