hi there
i am looking to order the front aero bumper and the two aero sideskirts

but had a quick question bofore ordering.

the side parts of the front aero bumper (the side parts that meet the black fender flares)...are those the same material or are they primered?

the reason i ask is..i may not want to paint the arches. well in that case, i would like hte sides of the front bumper to match the fender flares..

waht do you guys say, who have had experience with this?

I've seen the ends where they line up with the fender flares painted black while the rest was body colored so it can be done.

i know it can be done, i am wondering how is the material when it comes from the factor on the aero bumpers?

lol ok kars

i am trying to decide between the aero bumper or the hamann front bumer.
my main concern is keeping the black fender flares even wtih the side black part of the bumper

If you buy the kit pre painted, you still get the black plastic edge. If you buy the kit primered only you also still get the black plastic edge unpainted.

MINI is supposed to only produce the car bits with the plastic edge. Its a completly aftermarket modification the painted archs etc.

When I ordered my aero side skirts, they came completely primed. The body shop that my dealership uses (owns actually) used a black textured paint to mimic the plastic. It looks exact and feels very similar.

so i assume teh side of the side skirts and the side of the front bumpers will have to use a black textured paint on the sides..

i've been told the back bumper part is being re-designed due to problems with the original and not yet available. let us know if you find otherwise and if it has a new look.
