Offline | Colour coded arches from MINI, do you think it would be a hit? A little vogel tells me that MINI plans to introduce the option to have colour coded arches/sills. I think this is a great move and will be a popular choice judging by the feedback on here, what do you think? I like the look from those I've seen, but would be nervous an aftermarket place MIGHT screw the job up, but as a factory fresh option... hmmmm.... |

Offline | Great idea but I hope they offer balck painted ones too (on non black cars of course) I like the stock look but I'd rather have them smooth and clearcoated the the rough somewhat flat vlack they are now |

Offline | Fantastic idea! I'd also thought about having 'em sprayed by some aftermarket boys but didn't want to risk a botch job! (there's a really nice yellow MINI in the galleries somewhere thats also been done) I'm in the queue for a MINI 'Open' and would definately order colour coded arches etc as an option. Wouldn't mind a fat Magnex exhaust as well. Do they sound any good? Ya gotta have a nice burble from the exhaust if you drive a cab!!! ![]() |

| The Works! | Hmmm... I hear about this as my MCS is in the shop right now getting the arches painted to match the aero kit and car . Its a tough job to do it right, lots of sanding and filling, is what the body shop people are telling me. I wonder when we will see this factory option. Very interesting. To bad its not available now. I love the look ! I just have to get it the hard way. I will post pics on Tues or Wed when I finally get my baby !!Shawn 04 John Cooper Works MCS Grab a gear and GO ! | MINI2 Master BLASTER!!!!! | Wow that Titanium Grey MCS looks cool with black painted arches, gives a very nice effect along with the black roof (it is black right?) Very nice indeed, almost tempted to either order one like that, full on black one or even maybe a Red with Black roof, hmmmmmmm Spoilt for choices now! |

| #1647 of 1960 | o man I certainly agree! I was hoping someone (maybe even MINI?) would offer a pre-painted black skirt/wheel arch kit as a replacement to the matte ones. It's really a bugger trying to keep wax off of those things . I want black though, I like the way the black accents look on my pure Silver MC. A shop would have to remove them, sand them, prime them with a special plastic-friendly primer, paint, maybe clearcoat, then reinstall..... lots of work. |

Offline | i am not sure about the chrome idea..hmm as far as the white arches..i think if u have a pw/b then black glossy arches would be a better contrast just my opinion ![]() 2003 CR MCS and 2007 CR MCS (on order) |
