i really hate that kit, but i am taken aback by the responses on this thread. we all drive minis, because we are open minded individuals who appreciate a different motoring experience. driving a mini is about being different, how can you guys get mad at this person for wanting a body kit?

for example, i go to uc berkeley (one of the most liberal places in the united states). yesterday i was denounced in class by a fellow student because i was a republican (everyone here is a left wing green party environmentalist or democrat) and i pointed out to her, berkeley is supposed to the most open minded community in the usa, and the least she could do is respect my opinion, even if it was different. she was surprised when i put it that way.

but sure not everyone likes kits, i for one dont like it and we all should be like gmini and say "to each thier own". if we keep putting people down for thier likes and wants for thier mini, eventually people will stop asking questions and we all will have the same minis with the same kits...where is the individuality in that?

anyways..sorry for the rant

With all due respect, I still want to cry.

In the same way I want to cry when I see a dog made to wear a little leather jacket and tiny leather boots.

Couldn't agree more, but that kit is the worst bodykit I've ever seen on a MINI except one (which I'm keeping to myself to not offend the persons('s) car in question)

Ok its one of them from here, but there are some quite bad ones from there anyway (and a couple of good ones) 1 which is marginally better than the Aero kit (the riveted on one that just replaced the black plastic trim of the standard Cooper/One)

Oops: THE LINK
