I was thinking that I would like to put red pinstriping down the black bonnet stripes. How wide is the pinstriping on the factory installed bonnet stripes on th MCS? Would you say that it is the ideal width or should the pinstripes have been wider? Ideally I would have decided this sooner before my pw/b MC was scheduled for production and NOT specified black bonnet stripes. But I did so I was thinking of ordering customized stripes from cooperflags - black boot stripes w/ red pinstripes and JUST red pinstripes for the bonnet (since it already has black bonnet stries). So you think I could pull it off? Would it look really off since the red bonnet pinstripes were added after and the boot ones came black w/ red pinstripes? And if it's not too much of a pain in the butt I would really appreciate if someone could do a quick (nothing fancy) Photoshop job of a pw/b MC with black bonnet stripes and red pinstripes. Or point me to someone who has something like this combo. THANKS!

Sounds like it would be pretty cool, althought seeing the red on a black background may be a bit tough. It may look better if you had red bonnet stripes set off from the PW by black pinstripes....in fact, I had seen one posted here a while back, and it looked very sharp.

For an even more "custom" look, and since you mentioned buying from CooperFlags... Consider red stripes with black pinstriping. Pinstripe bordering in color may seem to "busy", and a bolder splash of color would make more sense to me.

I fancied red pinstriping on the sides - running from the headlight to the taillight, right along the gill and door handle.

Red pins on black stripes would be sharp!

Thank you! Thank you I love the red pinstripes. Definately will go for wider than 1/4" standard to really make it POP! I don't think cooperflags will mind since that's the pick I'm gonna use to convey what I want. Thanks again!

The CooperFlag images are low-pixel count, and super easy to modify.
