debadge

picked up new MC on Friday. Few problems: kerbed S alloy, loose exterior trim and a Cooper badge when I had asked for it to be debadged. Salesman said he would book it in to rectify the faults, but anybody know how easy it is to remove the badge - does it leave any marks ?

boiling water, releases the glue, if there is any left on the paint work, pour more hot water on it and then when its soft it should peel straight off, leaving no markss, if it does some polish will sort it out

Welcome to MINI2.

Try the search feature its at the top of the page, many people have removed badges (try a search for debadge* ) with various methods, mostly commonly I think dental floss, but check other's experience before you proceed. In any event, that at least isn't something to really worry about.

Hope the other things get fixed quickly and you can get off and enjoy your car.

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.
