To put one particular often asked question to bed, I have asked MINI if it's possible here in the UK to have the shark fin without Sat. Nav.

The answer is no. It is supplied with phone prep, but phone prep isn't available as a UK option, so it can't be done.

Hope this helps those wanting a definite answer.

The information I had was it was a future change. That was from inside the factory.
