MINI2

Im orderd a new mini in Sepember and since then I have been chagning my order almost every week. So much so my dealer knows my name soon as he answers

Anyways I ordered Viper stripes for the bonnet roof and back, but my girlfriend said it looks horrible...

So is it me that thinks that it looks cool or does it look ugly?

When it arrives it will look exacly like the picture below...

IMO MINIs are one of the very few cars that look great with strong graphics
(flags, checkers, stripes, strong colors, 2-color combos, etc.)

So I encourage you to go for it.
I'ts mostly a matter of finding the combination of colors and graphics that interest you-
but I'll add that that is a *great* looking MINI

MINIs are all about the individual and what looks good to them, and I don't think you can have a bad looking MINI!!

My opinion on yours is they look pretty cool!!

First, lets get the name right. They are not Viper Stripes. They are Shelby Stripes. Carol Shelby was using the two stripe pattern on the 1963 and 1964 Cobra Race Cars and then on the 1965 and 1966 Shelby Mustangs.

I personnally do not like them on a MINI.

Having just had a Chili Red/White roof MCS pass me on the way home with Viper stipes, I have to say as a bloke I thought it looked cool (in your words).

I think the white roof is what did it for me. Don't really like them if the roof is body colour.

I personally beleve the car should be an expression of yourself. I've just picked up my MCS today,solid black,blacked out widows,white checkered roof and driving lamps

Just stunning it looks , so just express yourself in your car! Only

of the day was leaving my MC behind Brg,white roof + bonnet stripes and driving lamps . Just a shame i can't have both! Then again there always do a bank job and by it back

I got a cosmos black Cooper with silver viper stripes as per your pic and I certainly haven't regretted it. They make a great change from the flags/chequered roofs (not that there is anything wrong with them of course!).

The Shelby stripes look ugly on the Mini.......why dont you use the Mini Stripes?

The mini is such a cool car, graphics look really good on it. I am not being over horrible, but my girlfriend was very shallow, and diddnt bother bout my car. She said that a check roof, a private plate, bonnet stripes with custom logos, and white mirrorcaps were too much,

But Come on . . . . . .

I am getting an EB/B MCS in Dec and considering viper stripes (what ever they are called) but as I have a black roof its pointless having them on the roof. So what do you think they will look like just on the bonet?

Rich, i have sb/b cooper with silver stripes so you might guess I think they are cool - only problem , someone said it reminded them of Newcastle utd shirt, not a good thing to say to a manc!
also, to the stateside pedant - they are listed as viper stripes in the options, so vipers they are when you talk about minis; plus most youngsters over here would know a viper but not a cobra.
