Offline |  European License Plate Frame I'm in California and would like to get a European License Plate holder mounted to the front of my Mini, as opposed to the USA version. Does anyone know how to get the frame installed? I spoke to someone at a dealership who said they could get it if they had the part number. If you have an 'S', you'll want to read this thread: http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/17555-us-s-owners-euro-front-plates.html If you have a Cooper, you'll want to read this thread: http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/26309-removing-american-molding-install-european-license-plate-help.html I'm not sure whether the Euro Plate Holder that fits the 'S' also works on the Cooper. Regardless, there is the cheaper Euro Universal Mounting Bracket alternative:  Before going this route you should be aware that this type of plate is illegal in CA  I originally purchased the Euro Plate Holder for my 'S' but ended up returning it to the dealer because I liked the "no license plate look" better ... which is also illegal here in CA   |
