| MINI2 Regular | I never would have thought it was something I could get them to fix until I read it on here somehwere. So while my Mini is in getting a new Stumble Free DME this weekend in Cinci, I gave them a list of everything else to be fixed, incuding the majorly scratched interior door handles and sterring wheel ring, as well as the big patch of corroded paint under the hood. They had said on the phone they would take it to a body shop. Well, after my husband drove up there about 165 miles yesterday to the appt he's had for over a week, they played the "Oh, well we just don't know if the bodyshop can get it in" song and dance. So my husband offered to let them schedule it when he comes up for the next oil change service in 4k miles. They just don't think that will work either. So are they basically going to not fix it? I know other people on here have getten it taken care of. And to top it off, we had to wait over a week to get in so they could arrange a loaner car and when he got there, oops, they didn't have any. They wanted him to drive a.... MINIVAN. One does not go from a Mini to a Mini van! While they were calling the rental place, a 3 series came back, and they gave him that, on empty and filthy dirty inside and out. I would have hoped for better service on the third time we've had the Mini in for the same problem. I just hope this really fixes the stumble. |

| Mr BlueMiniS | You'll have to keep us up to date on whether or not the stumble is fixed. Each time I've had my car in for the squeaks in the dash, I've asked about the new software and I keep getting the "they are working on it" story. I hate to say it, but this doesn't seem like an isolated incident. I have been very dissapointed with the lack of concern the Cincy dealer seems to show for their customers. You are even in a harder situation coming from so far away. I wonder what it would take to get them to start treating us like we deserve. EDIT: Good luck with getting that stumble and paint issues resolved. |
