I'd assume our severe lack of staying on topic has driven them all away

I'd really like to see the wide kits in person
There, now I feel better

I'm with you on that. Seeing the kit in person would be wonderful. I'll probably wind up seeing them in person for the first time when I install my own late this spring......

Looking at the 2 kits, i find it hard to believe there the same kit.

why would breyton say there kit is for the ONE and COOPER only if it will fit the S? That would just lose them business, and there not daft!

I would say just by looking at the breyton kit that it will not fit the S, as the archs go over the side skirts and the S skirts r shaped at the end.

basserk sorry to say this but i think ur car looks abit funny with those wheels and archs, u should deffo get spacers, cause ur wheels look lost, but it looks like who ever fitted and painted ur archs did a very good job.

I am thinking about getting these archs for my car but dont want my wheels to look lost.

Don't worry, those wheels are not mine and are not on my car - My buddy only slapped them on from his car to see how they looked. I know they're waaaay narrow for the new flare widths, which is why I've been searching for the perfect set... Think I'm getting close, just found a local dealer for the wheels I want - Will post a pic once they're installed.

By the way, the kit should fit the S just fine. The part that goes over the side skirts have enough room and should accomodate the extra curves the S has. I actually will have to tape mine down because there's some slack between on mine, doesn't look as tight as it should. A good friend of mine did the painting and fitting of the flares - He charged me about half of what the shops charge. I called an exclusive BMW/Benz/Ferrari body shop here in SoCal and they quoted me $600-$800 to install.

look forward to seeing the pic

My car is going in for the cooper s front and s side skirts and all my colour coding again after the new year, but im now wondering weva to put it for a few more weeks and get those archs aswell, i think after seeing the pilo blue cooper s i think the archs looks fantastic and i want them i also have a ONE rear buimper so i need to make sure the archs from the S will fit with the my ONE rear bumper. Just had a quick photoshop done by a friend, but i dont know if my wheels r going to silly even with spacers.

I didn't know the rear bumper on my Cooper was any different from the ONE. The only difference in OEM between the MCS and Cooper is the Front/Rear bumper and the side skirts (protruding length and visible design, both flow evenly to near, I thought, identical arches). I'm gonna do some searching tho in case I've mistaken. But it should bolt right up fine without any break in the flow. I know the Cooper and MCS sideskirts are simply drop/replace interchanable.

sorry maybe i didnt explain it very well....

The ONE and COOPER bumpers are the same, what i ment is my car will soon have the S front bumper, the S side skirts and im keeping the orginal ONE rear bumper, so i need to make sure that if i buy the wide archs designed to fit the S, that the rear archs will fit against the ONE bumper, by the looks of it they should, just wanna make sure.

Those are also S skirts painted. I've attached a side shhot of mine.
The kit is listed as 10 pieces so it couldn't include the skirts. The front arch is 3 pieces and the rear arch is 2. x2 that's your 10 pieces.

What size wheels are on the blue car?

Just so that you know, I had recently sold this to a customer that had the breyton kit, but was unable to fit this on his Cooper S. He has since recieved my kit, and was able to install in a short ammount of time. I've asked him to come over and post his remarks on the kits.

Thanks
Dan

All I asked was to come over here and post his reactions.. I don't even know if he is going to, but he was happy with the kit.

Thanks
