Offline | Bra for MINI with Driving Lights I have a 2003 MCS with dealer-installed driving lights. After checking a number of sources, I was unable to find a "bra" that would accommodate these grill mounted lights. A fellow enthusiast turned me on to Colgan Custom in Fountain Valley, CA. My car is now at their factory and is being measured for the company's new bra for the MCS with grill mounted driving lights. I'll be getting a set-up with the carbon fiber - vinyl coating for the bonnet, lower panel and side view mirrors. When everything is finished, I'll take a pic and post it. According to the sales department at Colgan Custom, the new bra should be available sometime next week. I was told that as soon as my unit is fitted, this product will be indicated on the company's website: www.colgancustom.com. The Colgan bras are of very high quality and I believe they are carried by several of the MINI aftermarket companies. Bob W. [2003 MCS, IB/W + loads of goodies] ![]() |

Offline | I'm not sure of the pricing, but I assume it might be similar to the bras for the cars without driving lights. Check out Colgan Custom's website www.colgancustom.com for those details. Bob W. "Life is too short to be taken too seriously" |

Offline | Pricing of New Colgan Bra I got my car back from Colgan Custom today, and the new bra looks and fits just great. A photo will follow soon. Pricing for the new bra that allows for driving lights is as follows: Part Number PR1197.8 --- MCS [@ $123 for carbon fiber look; @$113 for leather grain look] PR1196.8 --- MC [Same] I think the bra without provision for the driving lights is about $15 less. Mirror covers are also available --- $30.35/pair for the carbon fiber look and $26.75/pair for the leather grain look. Bob W. "Life is too short to be taken too seriously" |

Offline | You could contact them (phone number is on their web site - www.colgancustom.com) to see if they'd do one for a car with the aero kit and your driving light setup. I suspect they would need the car for measurements, etc. That's what they did with my car. I'm waiting for their pics of my MCS, and I'll post one showing the custom bra on my car. My photography isn't too hot, but the company's photographer did a great job. Give Colgan a call and they might be able to help. Good luck... Bob W. [2003 MCS, IB/W + loads of goodies] ![]() |
