Fitting the Aero kit (parts list)

Well new car is being picked up tomorrow but I already have the Aero Kit (picked it up on monday as there was no way it would fit in the MINI.

Now it consisted of 5 box's. 1 for each bumper 1 for each side skirt, and one for all the grills.

Now I opened the one with all the grills (to have a peak) and there were no extras in it. Just the grills and number plates.

What I want to know is before I open the boxes needlessly is that are the screws and fixing bits and pieces etc supplied with the aero kit package, or do I need to order them aswell. Need to know as I can collect them when I get the car.

Thanks in advance.

In my experience you need to purchase the fixings seperately.

For example, when I ordered my spoiler, I needed to order the glue seperately.

Good luck, can't wait to see the pics

the MINI has gone...

How hard is it to install the aero kit yourself? Is it just a matter of taking the old pieces off and bolting the new ones on, or is there more to it than that?

I've been wanting to get one, but haven't yet due to money issues. Installing it myself would save me a bunch, but I'd hate to mess something up.

check this out, this is a really good write up on how to do it.
because of this thread I have decided to do it myself. it says that the clips come with the sides, dont know about the front and back though..

Thanks for the info, I think I might give it a try myself now.

Keep us posted on how it goes with the front and rear parts too.
