Mud Flaps - Recommendations Plz

I've just got in from a long run out in the wet. The front/sides of my mini are still nice and clean, but I can hardly read the number plate on the back because it's so dirty. This happens every time I take my mini out in the wet.

Can anyone recommend some mud flaps which look good & fit well?

I've got 17" alloys & a full body kit.

Cheers,

James

United-States Front Mud Guards

It doesn't answer your question about the rear of the Mini getting dirty but I just bought and mounted the factory front mud guards. They're probably the cheapest accessory Mini sells ($11 US) and they fit nicely and look good. I looked at installing the rear guards but since there's no bodywork to protect behind the rear wheels I decided to pass. Besides, they're $55 from the dealer and take a lot longer to install. I think the Mini blowing mud and snow up on the rear is from the aerodynamics. Maybe the rear spoiler helps. S owners?

The spoiler makes it worse. I'm contemplating making some custom rubber ones to keep the spray down and hopefully the back clean.

when i saw these on Max's MINI it still appeared to be pretty dirty on the back. im not convinced that rear mud flaps really help that much.

Anyone know of a supplier of REAL mud flaps for front and rear.
Not the plastic trim pieces MINI calls mud flaps.

Mudflaps

Nice pic Max, made me laugh

IMO don't bother with the mudflaps, they don't look that good and your car will always get dirty when its raining.
Just have to keep washing it every other day

Mud flaps on a MINI are not my cuppa tea but do help keeping it clean.

I like a dirty back as it gives me more of an excuse to clean her

Does my @rse look big in this broom broom

Hi Max,

Do you know if the Halford Mudflaps fit with an aerokit ? Do they bolt on or clamp on ?

In need of advice
