Offline | I've just done a quick Photoshop of the front and rear aerokit aprons, to see what they'd look like on my Indi Blue/Black Cooper! On the front, the original pic was of an S with bonnet stripes, so I just got rid of the whole bonnet I put my chrome grille/upper chrome part of the apron from a pic of my Cooper. It was the original black mesh on the pic which I personally don't like.Do you think the front works, with the chrome and that? And, for the rear, I got rid of the twin exhaust pipes, coloured over the sideskirts to be the standard black ones (I don't like the aero skirts, and I already have the S skirts on my Cooper), put in the rear S-spoke wheel (ignore the front wheel! hehe ), and coloured over the fuel-cap. Also filled in the mesh decals on the bottom rear to black, as they were white (I'd be having them black). How's the rear??Anyway, just explaining why the picture looks crap, it's because I've been messing around with it to try and make it into my Cooper ![]() What do you guys think, should I do it?? :- Front: Rear: |

| MINI2 Master | Have you priced for just the front & rear bumpers It might be worth while getting the whole kit, might look odd without them I think the side skirts can help to make the car look lower ![]() S for Smiffy "Kids in the front seat cause accidents, accidents in the backseat cause kids!" |

Offline | Haven't priced up yet, but I purposefuly got the S sideskirts cos I like 'em, so I'm sticking with them. I don't think it'll look odd, as the black plastic on the sides of the aprons flows straight into the wheelarches so I think it'd look good. If I got the skirts they'd need to be in black (I don't like bodycoloured skirts on MINIs) and then I'd probably end up painting the standard arches black as well which I don't want to do. So, no aero skirts, I really don't want em ![]() What do you think of the chrome on the front though smiffy? |

Offline | myonlyclone: I just think it's a shame to get rid of that chrome though! I think it contrasts nicely myself. And anyway, the bottom black grill isn't that different to the stock MCS grill, and lots of people have the chrome grille on that! Will try and see one in person, although it's gonna be difficult! Thanks for the pic btw :-)Mark |
