Offline | Body Kits. Anyone know where I can buy them? I have been looking for a body kit for a while now, and can't find in Australia (Queensland) where to get one. Anyone done the body kit on thier cars in SE QLD? So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | Coopz by the way i love that name. ![]() Why do you want a body kit on a MINI, the MINI's look good as they come........dont bother about a body kit unless you have damaged your bumpers or something like that. Just keep the car looking clean & you'll be much happier, body kits are for WRX's & Nissans. Daniel Ps: Hey Coopz my cooper is on order, solid black/white roof , white bonnet stripes, 17 '' S-spokes, ASC+T, front fog lights ![]() |

Offline | Sorry to all who I offend but I am getting this kit, I'm still young enough to want this and old enough to afford it. ![]() So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | yeah it's to my taste and I know thats not everyones. Now I need to find a place in Oz to get ti from, it's an italian kit. But I'm sure someone must be able to get them. or custom fabricate one, but I'm sure that would be costly I also think I'll get the black inserts for the fog lamps rather than the colour coded ones, but I'll wait till it gets here. Oh and I am replacing my rear bumper, this is its third rear, and I had the front done last year too after I tore it off. I have scrapped the heck out of the bumper loading and unloading signs for work So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | you would probably have to do a private import on it i'd say from one of the many online mini parts places that sell them shipping would cost a bit as would customs etc etc but if you like it, why not? ![]() I dont mind the kit either i like the look of the grill and fog light pieces as well as those little cowls on the top of the bonnet and they can be ordered seperately so im a little tempted , only criticism i have is it doesnt blend well with the wheel arch bits and seems more of a thrown together kit rather than one made for a mini, i'd be enclined to wait it out a little more, it can only be a matter of time before more body kits surface and ones with a little more thought gone into them |

Offline | I appreciate your opinions, and I am not sure about the ![]() ![]() ![]() end as it does look like a poopy filled diaper, but I lurve the front end and the skirts, maybe I should take it to one of the local Custom kit mobs and show them those pics, get them to fab somthing the same for the front and sides but think up a better caboose. So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | Trust the Italians to design a kit for car based on a 50s British design that makes it look Japanese. ![]() CooPz, there is an alternative. You could also try contacting Paul Millar millargroome@ozemail.com.au , as far as I am aware he was going to bring in the French Esquiss Auto kit into Oz. I know it's not as radical as the one you are looking at, but it is the only kit that I have seen that blends reasonably well with the MINIs lines (although the intercooler scoop add on is a bit of overkill), and as I said, Paul said he was intending on bringing them in. You could also go to http://www.esquiss.fr/esquiss/v1gb/esquiss.htm Then click on Catalogue -> BMW -> MINI to take you to the enlarged stills of each of the views on the rotating image below. Offline | yeah I admit that does blend well, but I think I am trying to avoid looking just like a mini to untrained eyes. I don't mind being pointed at and I know CooPs stands out with the tint as is, but now I can't swing a cat without hitting a nicely styled Mini, they are being used as corporate cars for an investment firm and they have twenty Cream coloured minis out and about. That added to the growing love for them on the coast and... well now I just look like another Mini. Time to change So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |
