I'll be getting the sunroof on my S and am interested in if anyone has put graphics on their MINI? If so, any pics?

I have a sunroof on my MINI and would like to know any options that are available, I half wish I hadn't had it so I could have a UJ decal! I've read a few threads on this subject, one suggested using the same material as on bus windows, spotty stuff i think, another was about a company who make one way window decals but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the company, it was definitely American and they specialised in pick-ups. Not much help I know,

Alex

I got a checkered flag on roof WITH sunroof

Installation was pretty simple and fit was perfect.

Operation of the sunroof is not affected at all although the sun only comes into the car through the black squares of the flag.

Cheers!

Check for pics in my gallery http://www.mini2.com/gallery/persona...ery=slegorreta

That looks really good, hides the sunroof nicely

wonder what it would look like with the perforated vinyl for the white so you could get light through the whole sunroof instead of just black squares? Would the white look darker because of the perforations?

Yes it would look darker due to the perforations. I know this because the local library has some Windstar minivans all done up with full body graphics. Where the graphics extend over the side and rear windows it is perforated for visibility from the inside. While it is very well done and looks great, it is clear that the white vinyl darkens slightly at a distance due to the perferations over the dark tinted glass.
