Has anyone here had the dealership install the bonnet stripes after they took purchase of their mini?
My mini is still in the body shop and wonder what they are going to price me when I call them tomorrow. (want to make sure I don't get ripped off)

just because they have had the car already for 3 weeks, and I want to "treat" myself for not having it for so long.

I'd guess they'll either charge you 1/2 or full hour of labor.

i had mine done by the dealer and it cost $300. i thought that was a bit high and didn't know the cost when i asked them to do it. i would just do it myself if i were you.

When I was closing the deal on my MCS, I just mentioned in passing that I was interested in the bonnet stripes. My sales advisor told me they charged $250 for the stripes. I decided to pass.

You can buy the factory stripes from Classic Mini for less than $70. Even if you don't want to install them yourself, a quality local graphics shop will install them for far less than $180.

First photo of your car with the stripes. I must say it looks excellent - I always thought your car needed stripes, but didn't say anything.
