Notice how the aero plate rides below the lower "smile" of the grill, while the standard location (U.S.) covers the lower part of the grill? Someone told me there are alternate screw holes in the plinth, and that if you use the upper holes, the plate rides low. If you look at the three pics posted in the initial response in this thread, the yellow (aero) and blue (non-aero) have the plate in the lower position, where I think it looks much better. I'm also of the mind that I don't need to give the coppers an excuse to pull me over, so I'll probably go ahead and put the plate on (twenty months and 19k miles without a plate).

Anyone know the proper screws for the install? My dealer gave me the plinth, but no mounting hardware. I'm sure my friendly dealer would give me the screws, but a trip to the hardware store is a lot quicker.
