hello everybody!

my mini is on order, and i now spend all my time on this website while i wait for it to arrive! (gosh, it's 1:30am in LA...) only 2 more months!! grrr....

i have ordered my white bonnet stripes from my dealer (bob smith in calabasas, CA) for my liquid yellow mini, but looking at some gallery shots, i noticed that some of you have some really creative bonnet designs. i'm now thinking of being a bit original and coming up with something a bit more creative than the dealer default.

could you all help me with some ideas? post some of your stripe pics??

Were the stripes custom made for you?
And did you think about continuing the stripes across the roof in the body colour?

Stripes were bought in a kit from BMW. Applied them myslef, but wouldn't advise on doing this unless you feel very confident - they are very hard to do. Haven't applied the stripes over the roof as theres no point doing black stripes over a black roof. The stripes weren't available in Dark Silver as far as I know, and I have a roof graphic so that rules that out to...

Hi I got the dealer to get the vipers done, it took about 4-5 hours and cost £75, the dealer uses a company called Alpha Graphics unfortunatly I dont have their web address (sorry)

I also have a black roof and dont see the point of black stripes on a black roof.

I meant electric blue stripes along the black roof then back to black on the blue bits. If you see what i mean

Steve,

Nice color. I live in the States and have an eb/b too. I have received many compliments on the car. Have yet to see another eb MINI anywhere. I live in the Detroit, Michigan area so this is not surprising. Seems everybody in the States ahs to have a truck.

The wheel is nice as far but I havent driven a MINI with the old wheel so cant really compare it.
