Offline | Rear Fog Lamps & Brake Light Mod? I just picked up my 04 MCS with rear fog lamps and i was curious if i can still do the brake light mod (jumping ports 1 and 4). Has anyone done this on a car with factory installed and programmed rear fogs? |

| 2003 Liquid Yellow Cooper | Yes...it's the same as using the jumper, except you use a diode that you can buy at Radio Shack. I just did this mod 2 days ago, following the instructions on the link below. Rear Fog Light Mod It was easy. I used heat shrink tubing to make it a little neater, and put some subtle bends in the diode leads, so they'd make better contact with the side of the connector pin. Good luck ! :: dave :: |
