Is there a product out there that works like Vent Shades or something similar? Being a smoker in the rain with a Mini sucks! The water from the windshield flows through the window when it's slightly open. (Please don't offer you opinions, views, humorous comments, statistics, sermons, quips, etc. about smoking & smokers. I read enough of that nonsense on NAM with the same topic.)

The Vent Shades don't work because the Mini has half doors and the Vent Shades attatch to the top of the door above the glass. I think it would need to be some sort of a gutter that installs under the trim peice on the windshield.

Does a right-hand-drive have the smae problem? Do the wipers go up toward the driver or toward the passenger? If the wiper motors went the other direstion, this wouldn't be a problem, as the rain water doesn't come in throguh the passenger's window.

I've not seen any, nor heard of anything that would work on a frameless door, like our MINI has. Good luck in your search.
