I wouldnt mind having my wheel arches and side skirts painted in the same colour as the body (Dark Silver)
Is this possible,or are you left with an "orange peel " effect when the plastic trim is painted as it has a slightly rough texture ?

Or is the only solution to buy the aero kit ?

correct me if i'm wrong... but the aero kit doesn't come with colour coded arches.

Didn't I read somewhere on here that body-coloured arches are going to be an official option soon, or was that just a crazy dream?

I'm really interested in getting all of the black plastic trim colour coded,rather than buy the aero kit.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the pros and cons of this

Ive got a DS/B MCS.

I cant decide what real difference there is in the side aero skirts and the ones on mine as standard ,and Im not sure if theres much difference in the front and rear bumbers .....any thoughts

I will also replace the black plastic mesh in front rear bumbers with stainless steel/aluminium .

Need to know if anyone has had this done and if they could recommend a good body shop to do the work ,and any idaae of cost ?

Have alook at majorlenbeans,his is a MCS with trim painted all round,best pictures Ive found are scooby 76,he has aero kit but you can see the wheel arches in detail,put the pics up side by side to compare.

mines an all black cooper with arches done ... it does have a aerokit tho

Other pics in my gallery.. lighting was pretty bad

If i remember right Mini Cruisers car has painted arches and is a cooper minus an aero kit... might be worth a look in gallery

I have had my arches done and installed aero side skirtsl love the look.
