Can anyone recommend....

...a decent spray shop in the Kent / Croydon area please?

I've had a nasty scratch on the side of my MC for nearly a year now and to be honest I had completely lost interest in the car - before then I was a very active poster on here and had many mods planned - but that's another story...

Anyway I've saved my money and am now geared up to get the car sprayed up.....have had an exhorbitant quote from BMW which I can't afford, and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good spray shop? I have also had a quote from Autocraft of Bromley, and if anyone has heard of them with experiences good or bad, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance guys!!

You might not know this (I'm not trying to state the obvious) but you will probably (if not for sure) lose your paint/rust warranty if you go elsewhere than a BMW approved place. We're lucky where we are, the BMW approved body shop is very good value if you go direct to them, not via the dealer. Could you maybe try this route?

That's an interesting point - in fact the respraying side of things at my dealership is carried out weekly by a local contractor. I may approach him directly and see if he couldn't offer a better 'cash' price.

Also I hadn't appreciated the point about the anti-corrosion warranty - definitely food for thought. I'm glad I posted on here now!

Thanks very much for your help!
