I don't mind modifications but am at a loss why some spend so much money on irreversible mods such as this. I see many older cars that have had such "creative" work done over the past years that the owners can't sell when they tire of them. As a result they have a lot less money and are stuck with a car they are now embarrassed to own. I realize many people think that they are creating something that they may become famous for but the success ratio for "artists" is dismal.
Spending that kind of dough on drugs might be just as good of an investment of time and money.

While I personally don't like it I cant help thinking we are all getting too opinoated about it.

I'm sure he thought long and hard about what he was doing as this was the second upgrade and cost a fair bit to do. Horses for courses as they say. At the end of the day it's his MINI and his money.

While not my taste (at all!) I have to say good on him for having a go.

It is awful but we are all entitled to our opinions. Got to agree with you about GoMini mag, if it is going to be the Max Power for the Mini world, I will be cancelling my subscription !!??
Anyway where does a 19 year old get the cash to buy a new mini than spend another 6k - 7k modifieying it. Jealous, me, a little I suppose !!??
