United-Kingdom Can Bonnet stripes be reused & removal of driving lights

does anyone know if it possible to remove bonnet stripes and fit to another car?

what about removing the drivin lamps yourself..anyone done this before?

A. yes they can be removed but they are garbage once off, they cannot be reused.
B. No harder then putting them on, can be done if one wishes to do so.


PS- try to make your titles of threads clear as to what the thread is about (I've fixed this one )

Hi celicaboy

I don't think its possible to re-use the stripes, cost you only £15 + del from Idlegear.

I removed the driving lamps from my Cooper and fitted to my S, had to cut off the terminals that connect inside the lamps, but they're available at any auto shop. The difficult part was trying to remove the wires from the addition fuse holder. Apart from that very easy to do.
Don't forget the dealer will have to code the BC1 on the car you fit them to, as its not enabled as standard.
