Installed Optical Blue headlamp covers today..pics

OK members, here are the photos as promised. I installed the LAMIN-X optical blue headlamp covers to my Mini this morning. They were starting to get pitted from freeway traffic here in the LA/Orange county area. I chose the optical blue (they also offer clear and amber) to accent the PW color of the car. It went fairly smooth. I love how they accent my PW Mini color. For fellow Mini owners wanting the Xenon HID look, this is the cheap mod! One tip for other members....make sure you leave them out in the sun to warm up before installing. Not a cold day project. Spray a bit of soapy water on the headlamps first before installing. They also needed a bit of trimming with a razor blade since it was not a perfect fit. Anyway, here are some photos.....

No problem. Here is the hyperlink http://www.lamin-x.com/ for the headlamp covers. They also are available in clear and amber. The company is located in the state of Georgia, USA

So you can have a blue tint instead of the crappy original yellow / dull shine
