Saw these and was wondering what people thought.

Apparently they go right by the back wheel where the body begins to flair out again.

I guess with a good wax and application only when the car is clean they could prevent some damage and look pretty cool.. What do you guys think??

I kind of like. Do they come in a variety of colors/patterns? Where do you get 'em?

A Black plastic "look" would be good to match the archs and sideskirts, but I 've got Aero kit side skirts so wouldn't look right.

Hey.. sorry to reply so late.. I had a really crazy day.. here is where you can get them and they come in Black, Union Jack, American Flag, and of course checkerboard.

New Mini Solutions...

They are a small mom and pop company that sells stuff for my other car and just started selling stuff to MINIUSA etc.. These guards in black only are sold in the MINI Accessory book and are made by this company.

Thanks! I checked them out. They seem to have very reasonable prices compared to things I've seen other places.

If your strictly buying them as a design treatment that's cool. However, they don't protect what needs protecting. Namely the black trim in front of the rear wheels. My trim is being pitted and slowly eroded by stones flying back from the front tires. MINI really needs some way of preventing this. These guards won't do that.

they look nice.. but not sure if they actually protect anythng...
