Got my Cooper with a white roof but have seen a few cars with Silver&Black Union jack and it looks so cool. Can I get this put on my car or do you have to have a black roof?

I think the official MINI one is black roof only. Sure someone else can do it though

Well, got it done ! Sorry its not a great pic but was taken with a camera phone. Its not as striking in real life - honest!! Even though its "recommended" for black roof only, managed to get it done on my white roof. I don't think it looks out of place. I like it - which I suppose what matters at the end of day.

Was this the official Mini UJ and have you now got a clearer picture to look at (I am hoping to do this on my EBW MC with silver stripes when I get it in July).

This is the official MINI UJ but got it fitted on privately as BMW only appear to do it for black roofed cars. Haven't got another pic at the moment (that one was done by my camera phone!) but will get a better one put on this site soon!
Is it definitely the SIlver/black UJ you want? With my car being black, it fits in well but would have thought the traditional RWB UJ would look better on yours. Anyway, best of luck whatever you choose to do!

The bmw flag can go only any colour roof . the two colour silvers remain as they are. The key question is what colour you want for the third colour, which is the roof colour and can be any colour in bmw range.

I have seen it on purple, sorry no pic

Thanks for the replies. I risked it without seeing more photos knowing inthe worst case I could remove it. I got the two tone silver put on the white roof by a dealer. They got a graphics company to put it on and they did it with the light and dark silver reversed, but it looks fine on the white roof.

Gallery now contains photos.
