Those of you how have knowledge of this topic please share it

I just ordered red tail lights with the white turn signal. I should get them in 6-8 days. I searched this forum for DIY instrutions to change them myself. I already found a good thread where it was explained step-by-step how to do it. it sounds pretty easy, so is it ?

another thing was the price 179euros plus the chrome bulbs for the turn indicators 20euros
plus shipment 20 euros. I should get them to my door step with the price of 219 euros. they should be exactly the same as the original aftermarket ones from the factory. How much were the factory ones ? If I remember correctly they were over 340euros plus 60 euros for labour down here so all in all some were in the neighbourhood of 400 euros if bought from the dealer. Did I make a good deal or was I robbed

Oh I ordered mine from www.coopertuning.de. one thing that puzzels me now afterwards is the quality of these so called pirate products have there any quality issues with these products? anyone? any problems ????

hope not since it might shatter my enjoyment of waiting for the product to arrive.

so people those of you how have ordered the same lights as I from ctd please comment, this doesnt prevent others from commenting either, so all comments are welcome.

Oh by the way the guy from ctd said when I asked that is there anything else that I need with the lights, he said that I should buy the chrome bulbs also. Why do I need these ?

and how about the other lights can I take them form my old rearlight or are they possible included since he said that I only need the chrome bulbs, and dont the old turn signal bulbs fit the new rear light cluster or is there some sort of colour issue involved with the old orange turnsignal bulbs?

I bought the clear rear whites from CTD and i am currently waiting delivery.
When i bought my lights i was informed that the bulds where included in the price of the package.

The reason for the silver bulbs,
So they don't look like what you already have. A prime example of how they look is the front side lights and indicators. If you look at them straight on you can see the yellow bulb.
With the silver bulb you can only see silver, however they still flash amber.

Hope this clears it up a little.

i bought the red/white taillights from CTD. I didn't get the silver bulbs because the bulbs in the stock taillights are already white. There is no "egg yolk" look at all.
