Very nice.

I got the chrome grille and mirror caps on my S, those light surrounds look real good.

Are they OEM or what?

Yes I agree it looks good I just posted a message about the fog lamp rings,I really wanted them in stainless steel or aluminium ,do any of you know if they are made in these materials.

Monsta, did you get you chrome stuff from newmini spares ? How do you fit them ?

I was also going to buy a number plate surround ,are they easy to fit ? Is there any drilling involved ?

Thanks
John

ive got these on my cooper. they do look good if i do say so myself.

i got mine from e bay because it worked out cheaper buying from there rather than off any of the mini web sites. they are easy to fit, all it is is just double sided tape that you stick them on with. take abouts 5 minutes to do the lot

Got mine from ebay too, excellent price

They're made by www.chromdesign.de

They're plastic which is good for being exposed to the elements!

Fitted a chrome Cooper S grill today, more pics later

Chrome number plate thingys are just stuck on. You need to get thicker sticky pads for the edge of the frame and a thin one for the middle.

You could drill them if you want but it's not worth it IMO.

Prices of the German Chrom-Design are ridiculous. Especially the sideindicators are very expensive. I think I have seen them on MiNI-MANIA and they were much cheaper...
But I have to check it to be sure and I don't know anything about the shippingcosts.

Monsta do you mean you got the number plates of e bay or the light trim as well ?

I unmderstand that the best way to fix the number plates is with sticky pads where do you get them from ?

Thanks

Yikes between £2000 and £3000 if you were to fit it all is my rough estimate!

I got my number plate surrounds (£9.99 each) from Halfords. Took them to MINI garage and they fitted them - FOR NOTHING. I originally used the double sided heavy duty stuff, but after a while they come loose on the front plate because it's slightly curved.

By the way - the chrome trim around the lights look REALLY nice. Mmmm, where did I put my credit card!!!!!
