If im ordering a new mini without SAT NAV, how do i go about getting the SHARK FINN? Can i get the fm/am aerial built into the window from mini, therefore letting me have the SHARK FINN as a decal on my roof?

You can get your side window glass replaced with the FM aerial built into it, for more info have a search for 'shark fin'

Phone mobile preparation looks exactly the same as Sat Nav but with no actual Sat Nav

Shark fin aerial, radio aerial in window plus phone wiring ... I believe you still need to buy the hand set cradle component though

This would be the easiest route IMHO as you can get the factory to monkey with all the wiring and windows plus its all covered by warranty and a LOT cheaper than the Nav

All these threads about fitting Shark Fins and finding that they are not FM compatible. Has anyone thought about using a Shark Fin from another manufacturer? My old Saab 9-3 had a Shark Fin Aerial (GSM & FM/AM) and it didn't have any Nav either.

thanks for the info guys! Im really interested in knowing do mini offer a fm/am aerial built into the window as a option or anything. Dont really want to start going to replaing windows n that!
