My MC should be in this week and I just returned from meeting with business mgr.at dealer. Items like tinted windows $495 and many other items that seemed very expensive. My recollection is that local shops can do tinted windows and install radar detectors etc. for way less. I'm sure they add items to warranty which may account for some of it for the convenience of not going elsewhere to repair. I could easily add $3000 to car with tinted windows,driving lights,walnut dash,lo-jack and on and on.

that does sound expensive. in the UK tinted windows are £100 which is about $190. its probably best to go elsewhere to get them done.

dealer prices are expensive ... how unusual ... not. Get it done yourself.
