Offline | Nice grill, C-Jay! I fitted the S grill and bumpers on my MC not too long ago. I really do like the look better. The chrome grill and bumpers are just a bit too flashy for my taste! Richard, just keep your eyes peeled for them. I got mine off of ebay. I've seen several go through the for sale section of this forum as well. |

Offline | Is it just me or are they being a tad optimistic (bordering on the unreasonable) with their prices? £162(+VAT) for the front bumper alone seems a tad high, as does £165(+VAT) for the standard Cooper S exhaust. |

| MINI2 Regular | yeh i agree- i have a black.white cooper and i definately want to ditch my front chrome slats for the glossy black cooper S ones. I might even print out that picture of that black cooper and show it to my local bmw bodyshop- 'oi! make my car look like that!' i would cry... im sure they're up for a challenge ;-) |

Offline | Indeed. That's over $300 before you even add the VAT(@17.5%). Not content to just sell you a bodykit, they'll try to make a mint off the bits they take off too. |

Offline | This gives me an Idea I was considering getting the aero kit during the summer but disliked the front bumper due to the all black grille (I happen to like the Chrome) my question is this?? How do you think a MINI would look with (a) Aero Kit Side Skirts (b) Aero Kit Rear Bumper (c) Cooper "S" front bumper ( so i can still have the chrome grille) Jp ![]() The R56 lives another day.. time for the modifications to begin |

Offline | [quote=cjay]A friend got an aero kit a few months ago and was kind enough to donate his leftovers to my MINI It now has an S front bumper and skirts. I could not resist adding an aero grill and stripes cjay.[/QUOTE I am intersted in knowing if you ran into any sort of problem installing the bottom half of the top grill from the aero kit into the S bumper cover. I am talking about the piece in the top of the bumper under the bonnet. It appears as though it could be a clearance problem with part of the molded section of the bumper cover. Les |
