United-Kingdom Aero kit and Driving lights - pricing and labour costs :-(

I've been reading up quite a bit on the aero kit, two front driving lights, and people's experiences having them fitted or fitting them without the dealer. I just called my dealer - Chiswick BMW in West London - and the prices they have quoted me have completely put me off:

Full aero kit = 920 GBP + 650 GBP fitting @ 6hrs = 1570 GBP (2900 USD)

Twin driving lights = 150 GBP + 400 GBP fitting @ 4hrs = 550 GBP (1020 USD)

Partial aero kit --> Chiswick BMW refuse to split into individual parts

Now either I haven't been putting aside enough money, or the ratio of cost of parts to cost of labour is bonkers. Or do I not have a realistic enough view of what's fair? Now I see why newminispares.com is infinitely preferrable.

I had been quite looking forward to sourcing the aero kit front grills and following the Bridger US guide for my first bit of serious DIY. Can anyone recommend a UK dealer who will sell aero kit components separately or is this very much the norm?

Still ringing around... Park Lane BMW will order the individual parts in, huzzah for them and ya boo sucks for Chiswick BMW!

51 13 0 140 259 Radiator Grille = 30 GBP
51 11 0 140 255 Bumper Grille Top = 21 GBP

I can't find a PDF of spare parts anwhere, so unless someone has one I'll have to nip in to a dealer to get the latest brochure and check...

When ever I have stuff fitted I go to Rydale Cardiff. £50 per hour labour charges!!! Cant go wrong if you try!!

Thinking about the spot lights...how much are they and in real time (not BMW time) how long do they take to fit??

Cheers,

Jones!

Those are unbelievable prices dude!

Henry Bros. quoted me £250 for fitting the aero kit up here in Glasgow...so youre talking a touch under £1200 for the aero kit without spolier, painted and fitted.
