| MINI2 Regular | This is the aero kit ...on a standard MINI (plus the driving lights). The front bumper + grills are more aggressive and side sills are body colored and contoured. I think they do something to the rear bumper too but I don't know what it looks like. The install I've heard is around $4,000 US after parts, painting and install. DIY and save a few bucks perhaps but I don't have a paint shop in my garage. I added the grills and lights w/o changing the bumper but it required a minor mod to the lower grill to pull it off. Offline | I personally think that the Aero kit looks amazing on the Cooper S and there is quite a difference when you see them next to each other. The aero kit doesn't have as much of the Black plastic and is a lot more body coloured, making it look in my opinion a lot more sporty. If I had the money and an S I'd fit it. Not intrested in it for the Cooper as want an exhaust that won't fit with the body kit. Here's pictures of the "works S" with the bodykit on I think it looks the dogs, although I would prefer the Chrome Cooper grill on it over the S Grill or Aero Grill. These pictures don't really show the front off to well but I've seen it in person ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Cheers for the photos! It's true, the bodykit does look superb compared to the normal bumpers, etc. Even better in the flesh than in the photos - it makes a world of difference. And thanks for the pics of the red S - apart from the wheels, it looks exactly like what I'm getting. BTW, the only price I've been quoted so far for parts and fitting is GBP1295, from Mill BMW in Sunderland UK. I'll be checking out a few other dealers in the area soon though. Mal. |

Offline | Only thing with the S is don;t bother with the spoiler as the spoiler it has alredy is great and not worth changing. I like both spoilers equally I just thought the Chili spoiler was a bit small so thats why I upgraded to the Aero Spoiler. But the red S does look gorgeous, got to see it in person at mallory park Got to get me one!![]() |

Offline | Another quick question about the pic of red S - the rear view shows a chrome-look mesh in the bumper, but I was under the impression that the mesh you got with the bodykit was just black plastic. Any idea whether that particular mod is only part of the Cooper Works kit, Damo? I'm seriously thinking about buying some nice silver Hammerite paint or maybe brilliant white to go with the roof/mirrors/wheels/etc, but I'll not bother if the mesh comes that colour anyway! ![]() Mal. |

Offline | If your talking about the 2 holes in the rear bumper that look like they have a silver perforated metal then I've got some disappointing news for you. All that is is a sticker placed on the rear. If you can get a look at an aero kit and you'll see what i mean. no doubt someone will eventually cut that bit out and put some proper metal there. ![]() |
