Offline | Shadow Vipers Hi MINI2ers!! Got my DS/B MCS 2 weeks ago and love it...BUT I'm missing the stripes I had on my BRG/W MC (standard white bonnet stripes) The black stripes are OK for the DS but I've kind of fallen in love with the shadow vipers on the Rogue Engineering site - they look the biz as per attachment ![]() Question - does anyone know if dealers can sort these here in the UK or will I have to go elsewhere?? Any help appreciated - cheers in advance S-G |

Offline | Just a quick bump to see if anyone can help - or am I just being thick and should already know this? Basically what I'm after is knowing if these kind of shadow stripes for the DS are dealer fit in the UK (don't want to ask my dealer cos I'll probably just get fobbed off... )Cheers S-G |

Offline | I had shadow stripss fitted. I explained to my dealer (Rydale, Oldbury) what I wanted, and they sourced the stripes from a local sign shop and arranged fitting. This was all done for the standard list price of MINI viper stripes. The material used was 3M Frosted Clear Crystal, part number 7725-324. I chose the transparent material, but it is also available in a range of semi-transparent colours. Click here to see pictures I like em ![]() Doc Croc Cooper S, PW/PW, Delivered Apr. 2007. |

Offline | BEWARE the 3M 7725-324 is a permanent film, specifically designed for glass to givr it the etched cystal look. I am a certified 3M installer, and there is absolutely no way I would apply this material to any paintwork. You have to use a razor blade to remove this from glass, as the adhesive bonds into the surface of the substrate...Sorry if it is too late |
