After reading about removing metal kick plates from old black sills and sticking them to the aero kit sills I decided to give it ago.
I have taken a few photos while working to show how I did it and help anyone else who may be tempted to try.

1.you need a tool to cut plates away from old sill. I used a piece of metal wire tied to two screw drivers. hook under plate at one end and pull down to cut adhesive. this worked a treat.

2.clean all the old adhesive from under plate. i used thumbs, chisel and sand paper. wasn't easy but did get it all of in the end!. Stuck masking tape to good side to protect surface.

3.to stick plates to aero sill I used a good quality thin double sided tape trimmed to size.
take care when applying plate to sill (I only had 1 chance to get right place)

Not having these plates was the only down side when I had the kit fitted i personally think they look great now they are back on

Hmmm... geting my aero kit fitted next thurs, just wondering what will happen to my sills now. i wonder what luck shall bring me now.. they best have something thats all i want.
