Offline | Bumpers - two choices, either keep them and then put them back on when you sell (the value of the normal car plus seperate aerokit is higher than car with aerokit and seperate normal bumpers). Or sell them - they have a higher value than you might think, lots of people have little scrapes that cost £100's to fix, but the bumpers just bolt on. Aero kit spoiler - it is different to the S spoiler, it's about the same size, but the aero kit one has no hole in it (more like a whale tail). Although you might not want to get one if you already have another - they are quite pricey and expensive to fit, but they look good. Hope this helps ![]() |

| Comes and Goes | just to add to grings.. i have lots of pic of my original cooper with just the aero spoiler. wil have more pis inc the kit tis weekend. i got my aero spoiler inc fitted for £205. i though that was reasonable by bmw. i have posted this before... have a search. then again i did get my whole kit on teh cheap aswel. lol. tell yoru dealers that they need to read the accessories sevice booklet thing more, if they dont look at this they wont know the fiiting guide lines for labour times. This is a big problem with some dealers just picking times out of the air. - my dealer uses this guide like the bible! |

Offline | I have the Aero spoiler, cost me £230 fitted (including chili removal), and although some people describe it as a "whale tale", I prefer it to the S spoiler. Chili removal usually involves destroying the actual spoiler itself though as after removing the bolts it has to be prised off of the double sided tape that attaches it.Have attached a Zip file of a lot of images of the Aero spoiler. ![]() |

Offline | Large, its the same size as the S spoiler, but as it doesn't come away from the body, it sticks out less. It seems that John Cooper Works on their Works Cars with Aero change the S spoiler to the Aero spoiler, maybe because its better? ![]() |

Offline | Yeah true the Aero spoiler is £230 better than the Chili (or no) spoiler, but not £230 better than the S spoiler. Defo gettin Aero kit on the S but not bother with the Spoiler. ![]() |
