England Mesh Grill ???

If there was something unique about the old mini it was the ability to change the grill to differing styles, chrome, black, mesh or others.

I am after a mesh style grill, i guess like the grill on the Aston Martin

Does anybody know if anyone has seen or had this done i think that look would like fantastic!

I would suggest the aero grill top and bottom black lip with a chrome/silver mesh

Has anybody done this ???

Sounds great!

I've been thinking the same thing - for both the bonnet grille and the front and rear bumper grilles...

I've noticed companies like MiniSpares and MiniSport sell mesh units for the bumper grilles - usually as complete kits for the Aero Bodykit, but not for the standard 'S' bumpers

That said, the latter also sell aluminium mesh sheets, for cutting and fitting yourself... pretty cheap, but I'm not too sure about how this would fit to the bonnet/bumpers.

I might give this a go, starting with the front bumper... Does anybody know how to remove the whole bumper assembly? - Or is there a simpler way of removing the OEM black pastic unit and fitting the new mesh?

I think the bonnet grille should be an easier fit, if only because you can have a good look at the current fixing setup, and work out how to mount the new mesh before starting the job.
