Solid Red Rear/Tail Lights?

I saw a silver SUV yesterday that had solid red rear/tail lights and it looked sweet! I was wondering if anyone has installed solid red rear/tail lights on their MINI. I think it improves the appearance of the car because it reduces the number of colors you see. The pure red light against the pure silver paint looks fantastic in my view. I checked on the forums but couldn't find any info. Hopefully, someone has already done it.

what kind of SUV was it. The new Lexus RX330's have the LED type tails. Is that what you're talking about?

Don't remember. I did a search for LED tails and I'm not sure that's what it is. Essentially, it's a plain tail light that is all red (no round circles like a lot of the aftermarkets).

He means if the OEM tailight were to be red through out (ie the orange dot was red as well)

I was thinking the same thing today, and i think if you tinted the circle red with a spray it might work out

Exactly The spray idea seems to be the only way to do it since I can't find anything on the Internet or from other MINI owners regarding an aftermarket solution. Glad stellardude brought up the LEDS because I think I'll be getting that too.
