I am interested in purchasing numbered meatballs for my MINI. I see that the vinyl and magnetic meatballs are available. What are the pros and cons for each?

magnetic you can take off all the time. vinyl, unless they are the "cling" type, are stuck on for good

also somebody else could take off your magnetic meetballs if you were parked up somewhere. I would be conserned about them sratching the paintwork when taking them off / putting them on and possibly them moving at high speeds??

Vinyls would be better and arnt really permanent. you can take them off with a hair dryer, blunt blade and some white spirit as long as you dont use permanent adhesive.

I'm assuming they're the circles with a number in the centre?!

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I am referring to Circular Roundels with a number in the center.

I would am leaning towards static cling vinyl at this time, vs magnetic.

Oh jeese, I was reading this thread thinking you were gonna stick pics of actual meatballs all over your car!

I would go for vinyl.
