Anyone got a line on a cheaper method of flag mirror caps? Cheapest I've found is $145 (Moss?) and MiniMania wants the whole cap back. I know some will call me a tightwad, but that seems over the top. Seems like a simple decal system would do.

But I would guess that Classic MINI in Cleveland would have the best price as they seem to specialize in discount mail order sales all of their MINI parts sales are done through this address bmwparts@classicautocampus.com

I got mine for $120 a pair at the local MINI dealer. As Windshadow said, Classic MINI give 20% off the MSRP. so it should be under $100

I'm giving this some serious thought. I'm going for the British flags on my DS/W with sunroof. The prices sound good, but I wouldn't want them flipping off at triple digit speeds. How hard is the install? Also, the dealer has a version, do they differ much or are the colors brighter from one type to another?

Too much detail, I know.

There were some Cheap decal versions out about a year ago thay had a bad rep... but these from the dealers are top notch encapsulated and tough as the plastic thay are made of
