Okay I gotta say this first.... It's a photoshop by PMantis24 (from www.s2ki.com) he did it for me.

While I'm still speccin' a MINI (waiting for 05' for monetary, as well as cosmetic reasons) I do know that I probably want dark silver as well as the Carbon Fiber hood (as soon as it acutally becomes available) Anyway, that hood can be really cool or really wierd depending on how you look at it. So I think if or when I get it I will have it painted the color of the car, and leave the racing stripes clear to show the CF...

Anyway the below pic is what it will probably look like. Not sure how I want the stripes though...

My advice, since you have the CF hood, the ram air scoop will aslo be CF, if my understanding is correct on how they are to produce it. anyways, why not have your s2000 guy redo the photoshop with the stripe solid down the scoop. One of the pics have it leave the whole scoop cf, and the other with the stripes visible on the ram air scoop and the rest painted to match the hood. So there isnt that gap...

Just my opinion on how it may look better. But i think that looks pretty cool, just needs one of those fixes ^ above. (im thinking the latter...)

That would be cool! But about a 1000$ mod...

yeah I think your right, I may have it done with different stripes (trying it myself but to no avail) I think different stripes would make it look better and keeping the hood scoop un-painted would be key.
