Lightbulb Sylvania/Osram Silverstar or PIAA Extreme White?

Anyone have experience with either or both of the above upgrade H7 bulbs for non-Xenon headlights?
Both appear to have similar specs, around 4000 degrees colour temperature, so should be comparable performance, although I suspect the PIAA's command more dollars.
Any insight would be appreciated.

I have the silverstars in both my cars, and they work great. They give a much brighter, and stronger beam on the road, but dont look like fake hids like some do. I would recommend them.

cheers, jason

I originally installed the Silverstar but replaced with the PIAA Extreme Whites. They seem to be much whiter and brighter. The Silverstar are now my high beams.

Silverstars were great - smashin light, better visibility, nice colour. But they both blew after two months - not the greatest longevity for a premium priced product.

I replaced them with stock bulbs from my dealer - strangely, they're better than the ones that came from the factory.

Very interesting.....Longevity has not the a problem with my PIAAs or the SilverStars. I have a couple of pairs of PIAAs in my SUV that I pulled out of a previous SUV that I have had for over 100,000 miles and 4 years.

Did you find a supplier Stateside or did you order them from overseas?
Either way could you let me know where you got them from.
TIA
