Offline | I just used a drawing program to create the graphic ( sodipodi ), scaled it up to the correct size and printed it out on multiple pieces of paper. I taped the paper together to create the full size layout. Then I cut each piece and used it as a pattern to cut out the self-adhesive vinyl (purchased from Rally Grafix ). Then it's just peel and stick. (Actually this is the hardest part and I've got bubbles, creases and tears in the vinyl to prove it.) BTW, I also decided to make sure the graphic would fully fit within the sunroof, as I was uncertain as to how long I wanted to keep it on. I figure if it only lasts the summer, then that's OK. I suspect it may be removed from glass with some ease and less chance of damaging the paint. Silver/Black Cooper CVT with a few options |

Offline | Binkydognose: Well done! Very nice graphic and even better that it's one-of-a-kind. As far as the quality of my roof, it is strictly a hack job. If you saw it up close, you would not be impressed. I'm pleased with the graphic, it's the application that is lacking. Next time, I may have to go the route of Binkydognose...if I only had a friend in the business. ;-) Is your friend willing to extend special prices to mini2-ers? ![]() Cheers!
