I've seen them on ebay pretty often. One thing to consider is I've heard they can scratch the paint up if there is any dirt or dust on it when you put them on.

I also know a man who lost a magnetic bonnet strip whilst driving down the M1 It flipped up and took off, hitting the car behind.

I would never recommened '' a Ton '' down the M1 with the stripes on.

I would suggest you get your ass down to your nearest vehicle graphics shop. Get them made up rather than buy. You can specify the design then. U getz me

I have to defend magnetic strips, mine have only once come off, at 20mph when they weren't fitted properly. Mine are okay for 90 for certain (M25/M1).
Yes, I do clean the bonnet and backs when I put them back on the car, but most of the ime they stay on all the time.

Highly Recogmended. ( got mine from a bloke on these boards before you ask)

My work car is an Ambulance sedan which has magnetic decals on the doors and I have noticed under the decals has became quite scratched and marked. After seeing this I wouldn't put anything magnetic on my "S" but I suppose it's up to the individual.

Guess it looks like a trip to the graphics shop for me. I don't want to scratch the paintwork. Although the idea they fly off doing a ton down the M1 could be quite entertaining !!!

I got magnetic bonnet stripes off ebay and i love them! They were £13 inlcuding delivery which i thought was pretty good. I have tested them too high speeds and they dont come off. They will also not scrathch the paintwork if you take them off every once in a while and clean the backing of them , and the bonnet.
Check the pics in my gallery of them!!
